The Printeet Process…

We decided to feature this beautiful mug in this blogpost as we thought that it was a brilliant picture taken and we can’t help but to put it up online! (With the kind permissions of Zeoane and Simon of course) Happy first year anniversary to the both of you! :)

Very often, when we take a fantastic picture and want to make a gift or memorabilia with it, sometimes we hold back because we are not sure if the photo gift will turn out fine. What if the end product looks distorted? Are you sure it will turn out well on print? Who can I trust to handle my pictures with care? These are all valid questions especially when photo gifts are often used for important occasions like anniversaries, birthdays, mother/father’s day, company events, VIP gifts and so on.

We have had many people asking us about the quality of our products and how can we assure them that their gifts will turn out fine. The truth is, we can’t convince you about the things that you can’t see. The only way is to share with you our R&D process and philosophies in producing your gifts that are important to you.

It’s your call after that.

Ready?

The Printeet Process:

1) Produce the products in-house. This will allow us to have absolute control over the way the products are being made.

2) We test and we test and we test. We vary our parameters for testing, making sure that the right time, right pressure, right ink is being used to produce your photos, mugs, t-shirts, mousepads, badges, jigsaw puzzles.

Above Left: The result of our testing. Colours not transferred properly.
Above Right: Complete transfer – research successful
Below: The caps that we sacrificed

3) We are on a constant look out. Look out for better products, better technologies, better inks to improve the quality of our product. We do cross testing with consistent control parameters (ie same pictures :P ) to monitor our colour options, handfeel and durability of the finished products.

4) We reject when there is a fault in the product. There are at least 2 rounds of Quality Control. First stage is to check for defects in the product itself and then we monitor the transfer process. The second stage is to look at the finished product to check if the transfers are successful. Whenever a product fails any of the stages, they end up being rejected and will not leave the factory.

Scratched mugs, incomplete transfers, Poor bleeding mugs are all rejected. We never give such products to our customers.

5) Of course, customer support. When we receive your pictures, our technicians will do a quick scan through and make sure that they are of suitable quality for a good print out. If we find otherwise, we will immediately inform you so that you can make your changes, if any. It does not matter if you order 1 mug or 1000 mugs, we will always be ever ready to answer your questions. It is not about the products that we are concerned here (yes they are important), but what we truly value is the entire customer experience that you will have in interacting with Printeet.

Tadah. There you go, our Printeet process in a nutshell. The only limitations that we have are the limitations of the technologies that we use. However, we recognize that and we are constantly evolving and improving ourselves. The heat transfer process will always vary from the original picture itself but through our 2 years of experience, we have been gradually closing the gap and we are very excited about our progress!

Yupyup, Whoa, That was a whole page full of information.

To sum up this entry, all we really wanna say over here at Printeet is this:

Leave your printing worries to us, we will get it handled for you!

Till the next entry,

Cheers! From The team @ Printeet

  1. Suppose I order a mug and photos, will i have to pay shipping and handling fees for both items (e.g: $4.50)?

  2. Hi Indigolz,

Yes, currently S&H for both will be included. There’s special packaging for the mugs, hence the fixed S&H charge for it. However, the S&H will be waived if the combined order is > $100.

Hope this answers your question :)
